What to expect when booking your Boudoir Photographer – Sarah Jane

Focused on empowering women to LOVE the skin they are in. All Bodies. Every Size. Every Shape. All Colors. Every background. For the past decade I have worked with women and couples to photograph one of the most important days of their lives – their wedding day.

And while I still photograph weddings every year for my Sarah Jane Brides’ collection, I also offer boudoir portrait packages, working one-on-one with women and couples who are romantic at heart and looking to finally embrace themselves as a whole, for who they are, right now in this moment. I am still based out of San Antonio, Texas. But my lovely boudoir clients are located in Texas, Colorado, Washington, Oregon and California, New York, Florida, Mexico, Canada and beyond.

The Experience

Your session is all about Y.O.U. Maybe you wanted to book a boudoir session and gift these photos for a special person in your life, which is lovely! And I fully support. But I want you to come into your session with the mindset of “Today is about ME feeling beautiful, sexy, confident glowing in my own skin!”. I want to transform the way you look at yourself in the mirror, to see your unique beauty through the eyes of a photographer, and to come away from your boudoir session feeling sexy, confident and most importantly, EMPOWERED to fully embrace and be YOU.

What to expect

After the video consultation, I will send you an appointment confirmation as well as an invoice – you can pay the invoice I send over and you’ll officially be booked! I like to stay on a texting communication basis with my booked clients so we can keep up with each other, and to assist in the planning process. We’ll go over outfits (you’ll want to plan at least 3-6 for your session), the style and vibe (chic, moody, sweet, etc.), and a walk through of the process of boudoir photography so you know exactly what to expect.

Once we have your video consultation complete and details planned for the session, and you have your invoice paid – you are officially booked and ready for your session. All that will be left to do is prep yourself to have have fun and absolutely slay your day!

About the Session

We will be using my exclusive boudoir studio located at a private residence that is secluded and discrete. Prepare to show up and get pampered while you sip on a little champagne, cocktail (or mocktail) listen to your favorite music and we chat about alllll the things, and even go over outfits for the day! (Because let’s be real, sometimes we change our minds on what we want to wear just to go out for the evening, and it can be the exact same for boudoir sessions). After hair and makeup is complete, and you are feeling and looking your absolute, most Beyonce self (like, HELLO QUEEN!!!), your artist will say her goodbyes as us turn up the music and prep to capture your portraits privately.

You’ll be given the option to order anything from your online gallery from framed prints to photo boxes and albums for an additional cost, but you don’t have to decide on those additional purchases until after you view your edited online gallery. 🙂

Your gallery will be hosted online for 3 months after the photos are uploaded as well, so if you need time to decide on what products you’d like to purchase, you have that!
